Lauren was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. She studied Political Philosophy as an undergraduate at Yale University before starting graduate studies in History of Christianity at the University of Chicago (MA ’19, PhD ’26), specializing in early Christian art and theology. While pursuing her studies, she gained experience in development and Catholic giving at the Yale MacMillan Center, the School Sisters of Notre Dame in Elm Grove, Wisconsin, and the Lumen Christi Institute in Chicago. She is passionate about supporting the Catholic intellectual and spiritual tradition at the university, and also enjoys playing tennis, learning chess, and making clothes for her beautiful nieces.
