Sam is from Knoxville, TN and first came to Chicago for college, double-majoring in Religious Studies and History. He stayed in the area to work in campus ministry and later to pursue an M.A. in Religious Studies, with a specialization in New Testament and Early Christianity. He loves to talk about the Church Fathers, folk music, and coffee!
